If you only own one surfbook, you should own a copy of this legendary guide. This is the most awesome book on surfing Europe imaginable, covering all the best spots from Scotland to Italy, from the Azores to Germany, and everywhere inbetween! North Africa is also included. It is full of incredibly professional high-tech, accurate maps, pictures, write-ups, and gauges a variety of conditions for each spot- such as water temp, crowd factor, quality of wave, direction wave breaks, power of wave, ocean (break) bottom, what sort of rubber you'll need, etc. details >>

The Stormrider Guide World. This great book is also avaible as a world guide. It is not as detailed and accurate as the Europe one, but it gives a good overview which parts of the world can be surfed when and a nice basis to start exploring.
