    ADDITIONAL INFO:
Both of the Willis brothers started building surfboards at the age of thirteen and went on to build custom boards for many of today's top surfers and some of the surf greats of the past. Surfers like Johnny Boy Gomes, Liam McNamara, Garret McNamara, Mark Oberg, Jodie Cooper and many, many more were among their friends and customers.

For both Milton and Mike, their passion ran very hot for the big waves and there was nowhere else to go but Hawaii. They moved to the North Shore of Oahu in the late seventies to look for bigger challenges and bigger waves. In 1998, at outer log cabin (a well known surf spot ????) with the aid of jet skies, they towed into the largest waves ever ridden with just a hand full of other big wave brave souls. While apparently sane spectators stayed safely on shore, the waves reached 45 feet that day and the rest is of what surf legends are made. You can view these spectacular wave in Tim Binithams video “Biggest Wednesday”.

The Willis Brothers are recognized as some of the best all around watermen. They both have received certificates of life saving merit from the state of Hawaii. Surfing magazine has written "the Willis Brothers exemplify the spirit of surfing."
