GENERAL
From the serious grommit point of view it can be intimidating when crowded with all the hopefull one off tourists with short (SHARP) boards struggeling for a good ride. Also trying to dodge the swimmers can be a nightmare unless you feel confident enough to purch near the rocks where they fear to tread. The rules of the wave are and should be respected as everyone knows its best to stay cool with the locals at any spot. There is a moving sand bank towards the middle of the beach which forces a break. This has pros and cons as it changes from year to year. The locals like their space but keep to their spots leaving a lot of space for the tourists in summer months. There is a lifeguard stationed on the beach and clearly marked swimming areas. Overall there is a good atmosphere and a lot of people there just to enjoy the good surf
SPOT RATING: 3* (1- not so okay, 2-okay, 3-cool, 4-very cool, 5-the ultimate spot)
