GENERAL
The beach is a secret spot for great warum water surfing in between ...? to Oktober. Surfing is just starting to become popular there on Phuket Island. You find one or two little Surf shops in Katha beacht and the bigger town nearby. Its great and cheap and locals are freindly - surfing is brought by white European or Americans who spent there time with Mike - the sweisch surf schop owner. Rental boards are expensive - bring your own! SPOT RATING: 3

HOW TO GET THERE
Fly to Bangkok or directly to Phuket Island and take a taxi to Katha beach. Live at P and T near the surf bar "The tube" from Mike.
WAVES
Beach Breaks - soft and gentle. Can get big from time to time. Some times flat . Always some surf somewhere possible.
